Tour Plan
Arrival in Jordan, overnight stay in Amman
Half day sightseeing Amman, Hammam experience, Mountain of Moses, overnight Madaba
Citadel and names of Amman
The morning is dedicated to exploring the capital Amman. The driver will first take you to the Citadel. Here you will have a good overview of Amman and how big it is. At the Citadel you are on the first mountain that was built. The name in the Iron Age was Rabbath Ammon, the capital of the Ammonites. In the Bible Amman was called Ammon. During the Ptolemaic dynasty the name changed to Philadephia. This name was retained during the Byzantine and Roman times. Philadelphia became one of the cities of the Roman Decapolis. Amman was an important center for travelers and a stop on the trade routes. At the Citadel you can still see some remains from these ancient times. The museum is small and clearly arranged, many with finds during excavations from Amman and the surrounding area. Here you will also find Dead Sea Scrolls.Roman Theatre
Right in downtown Amman you will find the Roman Theatre which is still in use for open air performances. You will visit the theatre and the museum on the grounds with utensils, clothing and jewellery. Small and manageable. The old souk, downtown
In Amman you get an idea of what an Arab souk is. Colorful, usually busy, a maze of streets and passages along the main road of the souk. You see the vegetable market, many spice shops, bakeries, small supermarkets, restaurants and clothing stores with the traditional dress in Jordan, including hand-embroidered dresses. Today a quick lunch, or you buy something tasty at the bakery or a falafel sandwich?Hammam
Your first wellness experience at a renowned mixed hammam. The beautiful building and interior will take you to a fairy tale. The hammam treatment is traditional with steaming in a hot steam room, scrubbing and soaping and a massage. In this hammam they only use natural products that are good for your body and skin. It is an experience, especially after you feel how soft your skin is and how relaxed you are.Mount Nebo, the mountain of Moses
The driver is waiting to take you to Mount Nebo. The mountain of Moses already gives you an impression of what you can expect tomorrow, below you see the Dead Sea, the mountains of Moab and across the Dead Sea you see what Moses was shown, the land of milk and honey that he would not enter.Overnight in Madaba
In a family hotel in the center. You can dine in the hotel or in a restaurant nearby.Visit St. George Church in Madaba, Dead Sea experience, Ma'in, waterfall and hot springs, overnight Dana
Dead Sea Experience
From Madaba the road continues downwards, the Dead Sea is one of the lowest areas on earth. The journey alone is amazing with magnificent views. You go to the private beach of a hotel to float in the Dead Sea, an experience in itself, because the water is ten times saltier than you are used to from the sea. You are, as it were, pushed upwards. Do take off your jewelry and be aware that the salt can sting wounds, and... very important, do not get the water in your eyes. Water shoes are nice because there are salt lumps on the bottom. You float for a quarter of an hour to a maximum of half an hour. The black Dead Sea mud is available on the beach. You can smear yourself completely with this. Then let it dry for about 20-30 minutes and go back into the water to rub most of it off. There are showers available on the beach to rinse yourself off with fresh water.Lunch at the hotel
You can enjoy the buffet lunch with a wide choice at the hotel.Ma'in, waterfalls and hot springs
After lunch you will go to Ma'in, not far from the Dead Sea for the third natural wellness experience. A beautiful green area, also low-lying. The healthy healing minerals come from these mountains and deeper from the earth. A beautiful spot has been built for tourists where the locals also come to bathe and enjoy the healing properties of the water. You will recognize the Roman style at the steam bath, which means that this place has been in use for more than 2000 years. The steam bath is in a cave behind the waterfall. The water on the ground is so hot that it is better to walk over the stones to get to the benches. You have a beautiful view of the waterfall. After steaming you go into the water at the waterfall and let yourself be wonderfully massaged by the powerful water on your shoulders, neck and back. There are several baths and waterfalls, look around and try the water there.Overnight stay Dana
From Ma'in you take a very beautiful route to the south, partly along the Dead Sea, and partly through the mountains. The driver may stop on the way for the sunset. Dana is the final destination of today. Dinner will be served when you arrive. The hotel is already a discovery tour between the ruins in which your room is also built or just below it on the side with a magnificent view of the mountains.Dana walk, visit silver workshop women's project, Moses well Petra, Little Petra, overnight stay Wadi Musa
Moses source Petra
It is very possible that Moses and his people stayed for a while in Petra, the land of the Edomites which he was not allowed to enter. The name Wadi Musa (Moses Valley) and the Moses well tell something different. There are several wells in this area and the water in Petra that was collected and pumped around by an ingenious system. It brings the Biblical story back to life when Moses wandered through the desert for 40 years. His brother Aaron (Haroun), in Arabic, is said to have died in this area. The white tomb of Haroun is on top of the mountain Haroun in Petra. The Moses well is still in use by the people of Wadi Musa, they come there to fill their bottles with the mountain water. You can drink the water straight from the well and take some with you, tapped from the stream.Little Petra
Belongs to the vast area where Petra is located. The story goes that small Petra was built to distract intruders from the large Petra. Another story is that the animals were stabled here from the pilgrimages and caravans of trade goods. Petra contained a lot of wealth, it was the Nabataeans, the inhabitants of Petra who offered protection to the caravans with trade and pilgrims so that they were not attacked in the mountains and deserts. In small Petra you see a beautiful fresco on the ceiling of the dining room of such a rich man. Probably all the houses in Petra were lavishly decorated on the inside but nothing of that can be found anymore. You also visit a large built water reservoir in a mountain from that time.Overnight stay Wadi Musa
You will spend the night in a nice hotel, higher up in Wadi Musa. In your hotel with a view of Wadi Musa and the mountains you will enjoy a delicious dinner.Visit Petra, overnight stay Wadi Rum Bedouin desert camp

It is equipped with air conditioning and running hot water on solar energy. A delicious dinner awaits you, perhaps the traditional zarb, which will cook underground until it is served, together with an extensive buffet of Arabic mezzes, salads and vegetable dishes.Half day Jeep safari, Arabian therapy, Camel riding, Overnight Wadi Rum Bedouin desert camp

We get back in the jeep to take you to your camel that is waiting you and ready to take you to a beautiful place for the sunset. Exercise is good after the therapy, as is drinking water a lot. Viewing the desert from high on the back of the camel, swinging wonderfully, meditatively letting yourself be carried along together with the other camels that are connected to each other as in a caravan. One with the desert. An experience that is so much part of the desert.Overnight Bedouin desert camp

A moment of pampering for your feet that may carry you every day. A small massage with a homemade oil after the foot bath so that you can continue your journey wonderfully relaxed.Aqaba South Beach, enjoy the sun, sea and beach
